Up before sun, in came a smile

Felt not so fresh, not in a while

Challenged myself to jog a mile

Forgot at home my own mobile

Sunlight brings in a fresh new day
Colourful sky, an amazing display
Dawn, lot on offer, no heed we pay
Notice none, act like made of clay

Human life lived in a peculiar way,
All glued to phone, don’t look away
Lord, let me live without one, I pray

Thank god,  I left it at home, today

When back, sense a mood volatile
