The Witch

Petrifying darkness, lonely walk at the midnight
Grew scary thoughts in me, with all of it’s might

But for whistling wind, silence add to my plight
Secretly kept a golden cross, held on to it tight

Stood there with a smile, so attractive her face
Wasn't wearing white, but grew my heart's pace
Started a chat with her, subject skills- me an ace
Slowly she took charge, stop giving me space

Pity my state, my only fault, considered her "elf"
Soon me in her clutches, able not to move myself
Took home, said not a word, put me in her shelf
I was just an instrument for showing off her pelf

Years later, out at the midnight, for a lonely walk
Stood there with a very ugly face, said, "let's talk"
The ace in me died by now, no more ideas I chalk
Showed her the cross, and away from her I walk

Living Kingdom

Born an Amoeba, cheerfully living my life

Protista kingdom, none of us have any strife
At will, we change our shape, feel not unsafe
Silly organisms, but can orchestrate a strafe

We single celled, second in animal kingdom
Like us bacteria, but those lads lack wisdom
Monera their family, all of their acts random
Organisms micro, normal eyes see us seldom

Multi cellular, complex, kingdoms next three
Plants synthesis their food, others find it free
Fungi, plants animals, come with a pedigree
Animals rule the world, to them rest all agree

All here on a purpose- realize, won't be told
Live life the fullest, never self you withhold
Unknown, very amazing, is this lively world
Each of us see a unique, but a pretty world

Read the SMS I got today 

Feel like, I renewed it yesterday 

So soon a year passed away

Realized  soon after I step in 

Life easy not, like the "walk in"

But somehow here I stuck in 

To receive wishes on LinkedIn 

Boss’s advice, get the license

Take it, fill life with effervescence

Later got to know it’s essence 

Without it, life here make no sense, 

Joined in here amidst lot dilemma 

Six years, got used to the Aroma

Shall enjoy this part of life's drama

Till finally I say Maa Salama
