"The Albatrosses’ Vow”

Beneath a storm-swept sky, met two wings
No songs were sung, exchanged no rings
No roses bloomed, no screams from lungs
Just salt and sky and the heart still young

Dance of beaks and wings, a pretty sight
Held on to a ritual carved over centuries tight
Neither fleeting flame, nor hurried flight —
But vows that outlast the days and nights.

One soared to the east, other one the west,
Each chasing winds, take the lord's test.
Yet through the years they soar their best,
To finally find each other on that nest.

No GPS, no calls, nor a tethered chain,
Just memory etched in a feathered brain.
And when they met, the sky would rain
With joy that only true love can attain.

No surety that they meet, again they cross
But strong the dedication, they their own boss
Can boast of strong bond that time can’t toss —
The love and loyalty that lives in an albatross.

Sree....
