Woke up at five and I started driving
Have to be in office, for a meeting
Breakfast? Maybe there in meeting
Else, take some snacks while driving

Some come prepared with lot of queries
Others pass by, sleep without worries
Many want to showoff their dexteries
Maybe funny, may test your extremities

Minutes of previous meeting read out
All actions and dates are spread out
Some to their surprise will now find out
Their actions pending, struggle & pout

Not knowing to talk, may take a beating
Some get brownies, only by sweet talking
Good excuses, then only “date” changing
Very funny, at times relief, these meetings

Never used to let go anything, even if buffer

Relations are like cups, mended when broken
But crack remain inside, repeatedly gets open
Friends, with them, the crack will never happen
Friendship is divine, the spirit will not dampen

Friends are formed, can not pluck from a farm

I am always present in all of  their life's  program
Knows me well, appreciates me for "what I am"

Irritates me, makes fun of me and my weakness
Solve all my problems like it's their only business
All of my life turning events, they seriously assess
True friends, never want to see you in any stress

Plenty on virtual world, feels won a championship
Real ones hard to find, like getting a scholarship
Unconditional love at its best in this relationship

Follows soon, new glasses, from the mart
Sophisticated hearing aids, now life's part
All decided by brain, never listen to heart

Try out new gen stuff and may look funny
Your partner may stop calling you honey
Silver in hair, gold in teeth, gem in kidney
Now our body has lot to offer, lot of money

Natural growing old, don't loose faith in self
God chose you over many other in (his) shelf
Only you fit in your shoes, your better self
Be wise, foolish, whatever, but  BE YOURSELF

Indian Football

We are 1.3 billion, but cannot search an eleven
Sleeping giant, in football we have never proven
Cricket crazy, supporting other sports is uneven
Football in India, doesn't even meet the break-even

Football a wonderful game, the best one on planet
Stamina, accuracy, pace, dribbling, a game plan set
Ten take on ten, one at each side to guard their net
The game grew big in world, no one can neglect

Latin American dribbling we are no where near
European accuracy passes, we can never master
African stamina, no way, even if shed many a tear
Eastern Asian pace we cannot cope, to try we fear

Leave it to young generation let them take over
Cheer for these lads and  believe we are no lesser
May God bless us one day, give us divine power
Wake the sleeping giant up, cannot wait any longer

I was texting and chatting middle of  night

Darkness partly torn by the mobile's light

Addicted to the smart touch and it’s might

Yes, I proudly hold the latest one tight

Could not resist, I went with the wave

Gifted one myself, suddenly I am brave

Got used to the high & pleasure it gave

Awesome small screen!,  I am a slave

Funny world, newborn may start to text

Crossing road, no looking right and left

Driving with phone, your skills are at test

Scary thought, life without mobile handset

Now a business, world economy it can rip  

Many peoples’ livelihood , none can skip

Great feeling! world  is at your finger tip
