My dear brother, did you read that book?
No, my lovely sister, for it I shall have a look
Finding it out, some time and efforts it took 
Complete it I could not, so I left it in a nook  

Read it, one can improve the vocabulary
No simple words, extravagant, not ordinary 
Impossible reading it, without a dictionary
This book soon to rest in shelves of library

Floccinaucinihilipilification is just worthless
Such a big word, rendered me speechless
Not longest in English, sixteen letters less 
The longest has forty five, now I am clueless

Awesome this language, flabbergasted I remain
Lot more to climb, in front a huge mountain
This life is not enough, no time to complain
Not a minute to waste, put back to work, my brain

Hero pen

Awesome it's look, not less than a Latina
My childhood friend, admire it's stamina
So very useful, second only to my retina
First time I saw written, "made in China"

Those days always a lot used to happen
Many school rules, one such “No ball pen”
Using those hand writing will not sharpen
Started using this China made Hero pen

Soon hooked to writing, with this beauty
Always filled in ink, never let it go empty
Kept writing with it, as it was my only duty
Made it my master and myself the deputy

Hand writing improved, a feeling well done
Proudly placed on my pocket the hero pen
Stood out it’s appeal, sexy the cap golden
Still blows my mind, this Chinese wonder pen

Astrology

Planets, not in position, stay careful, astrologer's yell
Some money, we can manipulate, the cat we can bell
If not followed the sacred books, will be put in hell
Whole life we worried, planning our afterlife well

After death I shall not bother going hell or heaven
Leaving my body here, traveling all world seven
Will I get a new form, do not know, no clue even
Ask who? none know, not yet any evidence proven.

No skin or flesh, mind not, getting fried in an oven
Apsara, good food, alcohol, do anything it mean?
Don't know without my eyes if they can be seen?
Wrote off, all agonies about hell, can come out clean

Now live fullest, think not, the eligibility after death
Follow scientific logic, take good care of your health
Enjoy your present tense, loosing it, not really worth
Only life we have, it is now, right here, on the earth

Go there prepared, with energy up to the brim
Drained in no time, no wins, leave with a grim
Try playing my level best, still I can’t beat him
For he plays with passion, my dear friend Lim

Played infinite number of games, no success
Tried drops, tried shots, against him all useless
No unforced errors, lost not, his seriousness
Always in a hurry, beat me, his only business

He the better player, can beat me easy any day
Keep pushing me to the limits, no casual play
Never relax , no easy points, not a word he say
Me keep on trying, believe I shall find a way

Never get into argument, a thorough gentleman
Spirit is always up, play the game with a plan
Evident respect for the game, a good sportsman
On a closer look, get to see a wonderful human

Would rather love to be Karna & loose the war
Than being Arjuna, the most successful warrior
King of Anga (Bangladesh), visionary, the former
Never enjoyed living, so insecure was the later

A gem of a man, loyal and a wonderful friend,
Born illegitimate, destiny's child, but profound
Struggled entire life, none can ever understand
Put in hell after death, agonies never did it end

Denied recognition, left him in a river to drown
Denied education, he learned mostly his own
Denied marriage, could've won her hands down
Fought for nothing, did not even had a frown

But the man had guts, stood out his character
Panchaali's secret love, but never did he bother
Second to none, he was that era's best archer
Many hearts he won, for me, the real winner

Out of Control

Lots of work to finish, but I decided to stay idle

Took a break from the work, started solving a riddle

Too much into it this task, now turning hard to handle 

Uncontrolled enthusiasm, made its essence dwindle

Easy not, to control one's desire, divinely is this action,
Anything you wish for, merely starts as a temptation
Later enslaved, now can never get out of the addiction
Scoop any level to gain it, beyond one's imagination

Forfeit momentary gains, way to reign over the desire
Some mastered it, they just look at the bigger picture
Some don't curtail desire, never try controlling the fire
Momentary joy, makes more sense, them I admire

For the joy do whatever, can even break the protocol
When left alone, tend to overdo, like, out on parole
I am ordinary, mere human, but under divine patrol

Trust me, I go out of control with lot of  self control

Living/ Non living

The non living world  more dynamic and lively

Some came together, formed life, an act divinely
Life started feeding on the non living suddenly
Thankless life, altered non living world entirely

Invented new items in the world of non living
All were designed for easy and effortless living
Living world now slaves of  their own finding
Those entirely changed the world of the living

Living now obsessed  with inventions newer

Try all tricks up sleeve to invent more and better

None could matchup with the non living’s offer
Never will give up, on the search for things better

Enjoying the show, non living went quieter
Just made the “living” and let them take over
Living addicted, call their creations “smarter”
Realize not, they just transfer it, one to the other
