Salute you !

Put me in school, in spite of all my worries
Felt like running away, I never liked studies
A bit hesitant, fell for the offered cookies
Teachers took on, inspired with lot of funnies

Patiently trained me to think, read  and write
Took them a long while to mould me right
Never held back, tried with all their might
Taught me to live life simple and straight

Started as parents later acted like my friends
Helped me always, trained to meet my ends
For me to surge ahead worked on weekends
Their love & care never put  me in loose ends

Their teachings I followed, made my life
Qualities they filled in,  ensured I am safe
To express my gratitude, enough not this life
My teachers out there, love you all my life.
