Immortal

Wished me Immortality, out of his blind love
Special qualification, for it we all secretly crave
Die to live in many hearts, virtue much above
Can't be gifted, one's lifetime deeds do achieve

Some immortal  beings, to forget them we strive
Thoughts on their lifetime deeds, crazy it drive
They immortal, the insane acts made them thrive
Though hatred, in all of our minds they still alive

Hitler, Caligula, many more such men and women
Corrupts, the acts named after these specimen
They different, those ladies, not so gentle men
Why pay extra attention? questions my acumen

Some other immortal beings, the epitome of love
Gandhiji, Mandela, many more brought white dove
Inspire their lives, from our hearts none can remove
Never will fade away, forever in us they shall live

Sree....
