Resolution 2020, more family time, I shall try
Full year spent at home, know not laugh or cry
No breaks, no holidays spent the whole year dry
Turned vegetarian, no more Kentucky chicken fry
Was eager to wish all a very happy new year
Pressed the send at exact time to all my dear
Even sent wishes to the aunty residing near
Now controlling myself, to send wishes I fear
But wasn't that worse the year twenty twenty
To rethink, rejuvenate myself, got time plenty
Simplified life, by settling down in my county
Will find another job soon, before I turn seventy
Pleaded to mother earth, please move faster
She did, again a Jan 1- wake up call from rooster
Shall I? till dusk- for the wishes I didn't answer
Hoping a turn around; wish a "Happy New Year...."
