This is about the pressurised work culture in the private organization sector in India, especially the banks, We need to earn luxuries in life. So one does not folllow his/ her passion, rather to achieve more get into the life of an employee, agreeing all terms and conditions of the employer. But many of them are at their maximum potential at the start itself and once their life is set to the pace of meeting the current targets, the targets increase. They run here and there, somehow turns leader and now they help the management to set the criteria. But could not change the way its been set because the real culprits here are the employees itself who agrees to the management.
Heed not to need, luxury we all strive
Passion waits to take over, post all fine
Born a rooster, but lay eggs to survive
Meet deadline, left with the only lifeline
Meet deadline, left with the only lifeline
Not in me, still felt attainable the target
Set the routine, nicely picked up the pace
Life easy not, new performance criteria set
Lay ten eggs!, realize elsewhere my place
Frantically ran, made senseless the phobia
See not any difference, travelled the world
Out of reach remain the deadline, the criteria
Swam alone and discovered paths, acted bold
Turned leader, can't hide the face in a mask
Said ok to the deadline, targets one can't let go
Do rooster's lay eggs?, not a question to ask
About to say no, but roosters said, "yes we do"
Sree....
