Village the same, the food very tasty
The feel entirely different from a city

Lush green fields cultivating paddy
The rivers, lakes, estuaries a plenty
The sea shore, the mountains misty
Mesmerize me always, your beauty

Others strive to reach, the life quality
Education the difference in its kitty
Kerala Model works only with unity 
Seamlessly portray during a calamity

Once asylum, now God’s own country 
Hindi, now common, no more mystery  
Opened up, now no more a closed entity
Kept heritage intact embraced modernity

Relations

Born free, then many relations take over
Grow up easy not, at times run for cover 
Many more relations, one gets to discover
Sensitive some, around it emotions hover

Cannot pick and choose- the blood relations
Involved in it, lot sentiments, - lot emotions 
Love, respect mutually, leave not connections
Rely to fall back on them, at any condition

Relations stay not same, throughout lifetime 
Conditional some, beware, treat not it prime
Some unconditional, celebrate it as sublime
Maintain relations, toughest task in lifetime
 
Life partner, one’s only non- blood relative 

Can leave, in midst or life together may live

When heart controls the brain, the relation thrive (s)

Forget not, partner’s offer- all blood relative(s)

Quarantine

Funny but, miserable the humans' plight
PPE's, now a must for boarding the flight
Corona surged far far ahead, in this fight
Rare, a species threatening human might

Embassy chartered flights, the only option
Online forms filled in, to nullify any objection
Departure, plane, arrival, forms at all locations
Same forms smiled again at the emigration

Filling forms, now clear on my forward path
Never before so self aware, a nice aftermath
Travel day is history, ended it with a nice bath 
To follow rules of quarantine, we all took oath

Quarantine, countdown started from day one
Corona controls planet, for others set the tone
Wish- kill Corona race, sympathize with it none
Till killers arrive, quarantine- keep living alone

Arabian life

Plan I did not ,the life in Arabian land

Hesitantly arrived to find gold in sand

Not gold but found many of my brand

With all developed human relations grand

Formed friends, felt knew them beforehand

Personally witnessed my family expand

And from me emerged a dutiful husband

All in a blink, now leaving the land of sand

Why leave? asked self, times a thousand

Goodbye easy not, lot efforts it demand

Physically move out, face not' reprimand

Take memories along, from this wonderland

Change is the constant, need not withstand

Control, let stabilize. till then self you remand

Gold right in front, leave not one’s own land

A fact of life, takes a while to understand

Childhood query, what will you be in future life?
Driver, nurse, doctor, engineer, teacher, house wife
None to gulf, thank god, teacher's sigh in relief
No madam, these jobs we shall take up in gulf

A mallu goes first, all else simply accompany

Soon ensure a community built for his company

The Real Virtual World

Suddenly a freeze- stopped the human brain 

Countour a small hiccup, brains down the drain

Nothing left in right, nothing right in left-brain

Stop not for long, starts the virtual apps rain

Earth-a place to be in, plenty happening in actual

Slowly took us over, our own ideas conceptual

The world shrunk in no time, a change perpetual

Virtual world a reality, real-world now virtual 

Desires put in practice, mirrors the real world

Everything just a click away, avail sand to gold

Life in loneliness, though many friends to behold

Get used to it, here to stay for sure, this world 

Express easy, no more introverts, extroverts all turn 

Emotions to emoticons, some fake- some burn 

Virtual world' a reality, gives many - a heartburn

Let brain control, else to the real world no return
