Pay or Perish

Know not my child, why I send you back?
Not your fault, never in you there is a lack
Can't  keep you here now, finances will crack
Shall soon follow, from here I too shall pack

My love for you, much  more than I express
Sending you back, no money to pay the cess
Know not how long? the cess is too excess
The best I can do now, for our life's success

Born here, loved this place like your own
Hard for you to move out,  may feel alone
Though home, alien there, you just a pawn
 Starting all over again, difficult but hold  on

Never did I fathom, never in my imagination
Going back, unfamiliar, though it’s my nation
Stay apart my kid,I do not have a justification
Come back here one day & derive satisfaction

If this resemble to somebody dead or alive,
may be a shear coincidence

This is not intended to make fun of any body

I never knew you were insured
No idea about the sum assured
Your way by which you ensured
Our kids future incase you parted

You my friend, never will I tinch
Drowned Your five feet eight inch
Six feet tub and you failed to clinch
Cannot believe darling, self I pinch

Funeral, I knew, for me a repeat
This one is the last, its the upbeat
Then you consoled me, I was like peat
None to console now am only a meat

Good ones taken soon by almighty
In the process help him we the ordinary...
Wherever you are, please remain merry
You will always be in our memory

Project Manager

Funny but hard the job of project manager
Commit not the impossible, lazy performer
Alter commitments you look like a  joker
Commit and achieve not, no plan proper

Say Not , "NO" to the bosses,  remain silent
It’s foolish, says later, now turns violent
No for an answer, you jobless & arrogant
Poor guy now starts acting very different

Always in war mode, no time for anything
Lost at times, attends meetings after meeting
Busy motivating people and communicating
Always the project status for him frustrating

Go mad & crazy a delay of even a single day
Know this one day can soon be a year delay
All look up to the manager his acts and say
The job is not funny, very tough-no easy way

Farewell

Thought of writing Poem on the farewell
Tried couple of times, but didn’t fare well
It's only a physical occasion, this farewell
For relations within the heart, no farewell

Vava, darling will miss you, it’s  for sure
Will miss you too Appoos your antics pure
Boring life for us without you guys in here
Will miss Saranya’s dosa, idli, and sambar

Pradeep, many of your deeds, I do admire
Awesome the trips we took, brought us near
In you, I found a perfect badminton partner
Enjoyed the games we played, it was super

Cherish time spent with you, money can't buy
Enjoy the new place, we shall soon come by
Seems easy not, to leave you,  to say goodbye
Though unwilling, for now, say tata bye bye

Road not taken by us

End of the month for salary we crave
Salary, spend not, for future we save
No to acts of fun, dull life, just survive
Decided to have fun, went on a drive

Came the end, thought turn left or right
My mate said left, I took the turn right
Endless journey, my idea wasn’t bright
Road taken, boring,  endlessly straight

Road not taken, would have been better
Said my friend, heard him, I dint utter
A road not taken, why should it matter?
Forget it, move on, past no one can alter

Haunt us the thoughts on road not taken
Would have brought me riches if taken
Always peeping on the road not taken
Forget to enjoy the road we have taken

Very familiar this life, its comforts, and pain
Same things repeating itself no loss, no gain
Sun’s wrath too much, Earth couldn't bargain
Many times taken, born again, again & again

Explosion, expansion, then era Pleistocene
Dinosaur mammoths,  humans on the scene
Thrived flora fauna, till play turned obscene
Contractions implosion, the whole slate clean

Limited knowledge ours all our smart guess
Everything is written, why so much of fuss?
Never carry any burden, to self  you confess
It's simple, play your role, leave, now de-stress

Every moment back once more, same it remains

Nothing changed, you even drive in the same lane

No need to try harder, just enact your role plain

The cycle repeats itself, you read my poem again.

Comes from one's inner self, this magic curve
Cools you down, help you hold your nerve
Always keep it ready, there in your reserve
It can fetch you bit more than you deserve

Some people smile funny with lots of sound
Some very feebly, but felt by each one around
In some, smile comes down like pouring cloud
Never withhold, keep smiling, laugh out loud

Blessed one you are, if you could smile alone
Unknowingly it blossoms, all worries gone
From deep within,  for your face to wear on
Never let it leave, hold on, make it your own

Win many hearts if you make someone smile
Spreading it around, an exercise worthwhile
Makes people closer,  makes you more agile
Keep going, don’t stop, I can feel  your smile
