Amma

I was a cell- her love began- forever it remains

Put off her ambitions, "her kid " the priority main

Cared for the invisible me, she took all the pain

My life inside her, very cozy, worth living again

I fed on her, from the moment of my formation

She selflessly gave me all, with lots of affection

Carried me all the while, I was under evolution

Safely I stayed in her, till fit for worldly action

Opened my eyes, saw her first, she is my prime

Our bond is special, sure will last for a lifetime

Any thoughts about her, for me always sublime

I grew big but, like to be in her lap all the time

The first teacher of my life, her teachings I reserve

Unconditional, the love I get, in all what she serves

Her prayers follow me, protect each of my nerves

My Amma, the virtues she gave, I shall preserve

She is the only one who truly felt my heartbeat

Again, I want to be the baby in her, love to repeat

Her love for me, for sure, will never ever deplete

My Amma, God sent miracle, to make me complete
