Awestruck
When I use to be a kid I was very
tender
I heard up in the sky there is a
wonder
I climb on trees to be closer still
is yonder
Why these famous people are born? I
ponder
Next, I did was to try reading
Shakespeare
I reckon, easier is to stand on the
spear
Got nothing when read, I shed many a
tear
God, I am useless, can’t overcome
the fear
Enough of these, I wanted to stay in
solace
For myself, there up the tree, found
a place
Focused on books, forgot even to tie
my lace
Newton, Einstein, Frost, none giving
me peace
Solitary moved forward become
an engineer
Come these people again, now had an
extra gear
Now believe, the wonder can be
brought near
Awestruck, won’t give up, still
reading Shakespeare

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep." — Robert Frost, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening"
