Think like a child

Was it Newton who discovered apple ?
Asked my friends wife, dressed in purple
"Steve Jobs" said my son, his thought simple

Could not think like him, I became an uncle

For us grown ups Newton, Apple is gravity
Think like a child, now ideas are a plenty
Diminished with age, our learning ability
All of us are stuck with traits like formality

Our work is delayed, we have to catch up
Busy, run starts even before we wake up
Time to slow down, give self a thumbs up
Become a child again and never grow up

Now life is beautiful, start to dream again
No competition, no selfish acts for gain

Lives in present, future is no more a pain
Feels wonderful, this act of growing down
